Dr. Mark Hoch's Schedule

October 3 2011	Dr. Hoch gave a 2 hour presentation on GI health to the North Carolina Center for Creative Retirement at the University of North Carolina Asheville campus.
July 2011	Dr. Hoch joined the newly constituted Steering Committee of the Asheville HUB Alliance Center of Integrative Health. He is also on the Vision and Mission Committee.
April 2011	Dr. Hoch gave a presentation on emotional health and affect psychology at the iMOSIAC conference at the Minneapolis Convention Center. This is a landmark conference of the four leading professional organizations in the integrative health field. Dr. Hoch along with Carolyn Torkelson, MD of the University of Minnesota organized the American Holistic Medical Association day long workshop at the iMOSIAC.
December 2010	Dr. Hoch joined Great Smokies Medical Center in Asheville, North Carolina. This cutting edge center was started in 1979 to deliver the best up to date medical and health care. Great Smokies now serves health conscious people from the western Carolinas, eastern Tennessee and the east coast of the United States.
October 2010	Dr. Hoch is on the faculty teaching the Introduction to Manual Medicine course to second year medical students at the U of M for the eighth year.
May 2010	Dr. Hoch was featured in The Best Doctors issue of Minnesota Monthly Magazine on local experts for preventive medicine and health.
November 2009	Attended the American Holistic Medical Association Annual Conference in Cleveland Ohio
July 2009	Completed a 3 year program in Spiritual Healing at the University of Spiritual Healing and Sufism
June 2009	Attended the Annual Osteopathic Conference of the Cranial Academy in Bethesda, Maryland.
May 2009	Dr. Hoch was featured in the Minnesota Medical Association magazine Minnesota Medicine for his work in integrative medicine
March & October 2009	Taught workshops on affect psychology and shame with Kathy Jennings in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the spring and again in the fall at the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing at Abbott Northwestern Hospital.
Spring 2008	Dr. Hoch taught Qi Gong at the University of Minnesota Medical School Family Medicine Review course
Winter 2008	For the fifth year Dr. Hoch was on the faculty of the 5 part series for University of Minnesota medical students on the Healer's Art developed by Rachel Remen, MD
June 2007	Dr. Hoch attended the American Holistic Medical Association conference in Portland Oregon on Environmental Medicine
May 2007	Dr. Hoch received a Bush Medical Fellowship for a three year program to study spiritual healing
